I grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota, a suburb about 15 minutes away from Minneapolis on a good day. I'm 20 years old and have been working as a photographer for a year now. I've always had an interest in photography but really started taking my passion seriously in the summer of 2019.

 

During that summer I found a team of talented artists and producer, Colin Bergthold, at Eleventh Avenue Recording Studios in Downtown Saint Paul. I shot everything from studio sessions, shows, and cover art all for free. Each day at the studio presented a new opportunity to learn and develop my passion.

I began to work primarily with influencers in Minnesota and  touring artists. I would direct message artists on Instagram who had shows coming up in Minnesota--no press pass, no emails.

         

Since then, I've done work for Skizzy Mars, Riff Raff, SnowtaFest, and a variety of local artists. I also got to spend some time with Atlanta Rapper, Big Havi, providing his team with local media support and getting to know them in my apartment that week, then hosted a private listening party for his debut album before following along to shoot his sold-out show with Lil Tjay and the Kid Laroi at First Avenue. Just a couple days later, I left for tour with Minnesota artist, Ty Prophecy, starting in South Padre Texas where he performed first at the Rockstar Energy Beach Bash accompanied by A Boogie Wit A Hoodie, and ended up on a flight home just days later after the tour was cut short due to COVID-19.
